Who created Resound?

Resound was founded by a team that initially worked at Resonate Recordings and launched the company in 2021 with the mission to automate podcast editing using AI. The AI editing app for podcasters was inspired by the German Physicist Ernst Chladni, known as "The Father of Acoustics." The platform was officially launched on March 28, 2022, after securing resources, growing the team, and testing their MVP.

How to use Resound?

To use Resound, follow these steps:

1. Create an account on Resound's platform.
2. Upload your unedited audio files by dragging and dropping them into the upload circle.
3. Resound will use its AI to analyze the audio and suggest edits like removing filler sounds and enhancing audio quality.
4. Review the suggested edits and make final decisions on which edits to apply.
5. Export your edited audio file in your preferred format, such as WAV, MP3, or AAF.
6. You can reopen previous edits, make changes, and re-export them for free within specific timeframes based on your plan.

Resound offers a free plan with 1 hour of editing per month. If more editing time is required, users can upgrade to a premium plan at $15 per month for four hours of processing time. The tool is user-friendly, requiring no prior editing experience, and automates tasks like identifying filler sounds, silences, and trimming audio. Additionally, Resound plans to introduce new features such as repeat detection, filler word detection, video exports, and stutter detection to enhance user experience and save time.
